No matter how big or small your space we can create you a bespoke fitted bedroom that you can be proud off and feel just like a celebrity A-Lister!
The 1st thing to remember is a new wardrobe is an opportunity to solve old problems. Below our team have put together a list of helpful tips and tricks to help you choose a perfect fitted bedroom for your style, space and ease! First, we ask that you consider the following questions;
First things First…
The first job before anything is one we all don’t look forward to but a WARDROBE CLEAR OUT. Yes that’s right you need to have a good clear out to fully establish what interiors you would benefit from the most. Sort out all your accessories, bags, shoes and clothes to gather what new interior fitments you actually need. The next step is to group together all your clothes into dresses, jackets, trousers, shirts, work clothes etc and this will help to give a clear idea of how the wardrobe can be organised.
What size should I choose?
We all know that it is not always about the size but more how you use it, and this is exactly the same with wardrobes. You could decide on a 4 door all hanging wardrobe but if you have no bedside tables or no dressing table area you might not benefit from your new bedroom. The best way is to look through our portfolio or social media profiles to see some of our previous designs either for inspiration or to choose the same design. It all depends on YOU!
Start thinking VERTICALLY
Whether you have a small bedroom, large bedroom or are even lucky enough to have a walk-in wardrobe we all know how precious floor space can be. Now is the time to start thinking VERTICALLY, UP UP UP!
STEP 1. Make a note of the ideal minimum and maximum height, width & depths
STEP 2. Decide on Sliding Doors or Traditional Doors
STEP 3. Think about interior options to help eliminate any that aren’t adaptable
STEP 4. Keep in mind colour schemes and practicality
Style, Colour & More
The 3rd and final step we can help you decide on is the overall look of your chosen wardrobe and interior options. For example, if your bedsides, chests and vanity are an elegant white and gold curve you are not going to choose a contemporary grey gloss sliding door as this would be a stark contrast and may make you regret your decision. The wardrobe is more than likely the largest item in the room aside from the bed so this needs to be the safest choice. We advise with your wardrobe IF NOT MATCHING exactly to existing furniture to choose a neutral colour i.e. White, Cream, Oak or Black. This way if in the future you are wanting to change it is easy to replace the smaller items. Also think about if you want a mirror on your doors or separate. This could also depend on the space available in your room.
Also decide on the door style you require. We have found each customer has different reasons for choosing either the Traditional Door or Sliding Door. If space is limited we would advise sliding doors as this can help to free space and allow for other items in the room as you don’t have the worry of pulling doors out. If you prefer the more Traditional Door we have a variety of styles to choose from all be it modern or classic
Finally, it is time to decide on your interior options and then your dream bedroom is complete. With bespoke fitted bedrooms, as we have already drilled in to you, they are made exactly for you! This step is now where TIP 1 comes into play. Once you have established the interior options you require your fitted bedroom is complete. Please see below images of just some interior options;
